The Society is pleased to announce that we received a grant from the L-A-D Foundation to reinstate our popular training program. This one-week program is tentatively scheduled for June 22–26, 2020.
The program is in partnership with the Mark Twain National Forest. It will be conducted at the Piney River Narrows Natural Area in Texas County. The Narrows area at the confluence of the Big Piney and Little Piney rivers is owned by the L-A-D Foundation. Attendees will camp at Montauk State Park.
The program is open to ages 12 and up and is limited to 15 participants.
Development of this training session is in the early stages; more information will be announced to the MAS membership and on our website soon.
